Phyllacanthus imperialis バクダンウニ
棘皮動物門 – ウニ／海胆綱 – Cidaroidea亜綱 – オウサマウニ目 – Cidaridea上科 – オウサマウニ科 – バクダンウニ属
長い棒状の主棘を持った大型のウニ。殻の直径は5cm程度。南方種で主な分布は奄美諸島以南、インド-西太平洋。宮崎、高知、和歌山などでも生息が確認されている。高知県西部海域では水深15m以深のやや深いところでみられることが多い。個体数は多くない。
